Cell Tolerance Absorption & Dimple Interface
Accommodating dimensional shifts in standard AA cylindrical cells is critical to preventing intermittent power loss. The JIATEL JT-BC-AA-KS228 is deployed as a direct footprint alternative to the Keystone 228. By utilizing a folded leaf design paired with a precisely stamped Ø6.35 mm central dimple, this positive contact centralizes the compressive force against the battery anode, actively absorbing longitudinal tolerances while maintaining constant electrical engagement.
Anti-Displacement Chassis Retention
To combat terminal back-out during aggressive battery installation, this slide-in component is engineered with dedicated 2-1.27 mm lateral slots and a 1.52 mm lower tab. These features bite firmly into the structural ribs of molded plastic compartments, ensuring the contact remains permanently locked in position without the need for ultrasonic welding or adhesives.
T=0.25mm Spring Steel Metallurgy
We calibrate the mechanical properties of this contact by utilizing a specific T=0.25 mm Spring Steel profile. This thinner gauge maximizes elastic flex without sacrificing tension recovery. The entire substrate is sealed with a uniform nickel plating, drastically reducing surface contact resistance and shielding the component from atmospheric oxidation.
Engineering Validation
Chassis mount contacts require exact tolerance matching with your plastic injection molds. Unauthorized use of digital 3D models frequently leads to assembly clearance errors. We mandate strict validation through official documentation.
