Six Questions Worth Asking Before You Place the Order

You are probably holding three to five quotations that all promise good quality and competitive pricing. These are the questions that actually separate them — and our answers, in numbers you can check.

The questionWhy it changes your outcomeOur answer
01Are they actually the manufacturer?A trading company quotes you a part it has never touched. When something drifts, nobody on their side can inspect the tool.Ask who owns the tooling, which steps are in-house, and whether you can audit. Tooling belongs to your project; machining, molding, stamping, assembly and 100% inspection run in-house; plating is the one outsourced step, with an audited partner. You are welcome on site, or to send your inspector to first article.
02How fast is the first real answer?A week of silence is a week of your launch schedule gone, usually before you have even agreed on a price.Quotation in 12 hours. 2D footprint drawings in 12 hours. DFM review in 24 hours. These are committed response windows, not best efforts.
03What happens before tooling is cut?Tooling cut against an unchecked drawing is the single most expensive mistake in a custom interconnect project. We review manufacturability first: wall thickness, draft, tolerance stack, tooling feasibility. Only then do we quote tooling — from USD 600, and it belongs to your project.
04How is quality proven rather than promised?Every supplier claims good quality. Very few let you audit it, and fewer still hand over the paperwork.ISO 9001:2015, certificate no. ias25924q1358r0s, valid to 11 March 2027 (scope: connectors, cable assemblies, stamping terminals, machined pins). 100% IQC and OQC, full material traceability, inspection records on request.
05Can they hold precision at volume?A good prototype proves nothing about piece 500,000. Tolerance drift shows up only when the run is big.Tolerance control down to ±0.02 mm on critical dimensions, held across high-volume production runs. Prototype samples are built on production-intent tooling, so what you approve is what you get.
06What if I only need a small first order?High minimums turn a pilot build into a capital decision you cannot get approved.MOQ 5,000 pcs, with trial quantities negotiable. Volume pricing steps down from 5,000 to 10,000+ pcs, and unit price is fixed in the quotation you sign.
Cost structure

Where Our Price Actually Comes From

We are competitive without being the cheapest, and it is worth knowing why. The saving is structural, not a discount — the processes below run on our own floor, so you are not paying a second margin or waiting in a second queue. Plating is the one step we outsource, to an audited partner held to the same inspection standard.

Turning
Turned in-house

Pogo pins and machined contacts turned in-house. No external machining queue, no margin stacked on top of yours.

Molding
Tooled in-house

Housings, battery holders and overmolds tooled and run here. A design change is a conversation, not a re-quote cycle.

Assembly
Assembled in-house

From prototype builds to high-volume production runs, without re-qualifying a new supplier at every volume step.

What We Will Not Do

A supplier who claims to be best at everything is telling you nothing. Here is where we are not the right choice — if that is what you need, we would rather you knew now.

01
We will not claim to be the lowest price. If unit price is your only selection criterion, you will find cheaper elsewhere. What you get here instead is a part that arrives to the tolerance you approved, on the date we committed to, with the inspection records to prove it.
02
We will not quote a lead time we cannot hold. Prototypes take 4 weeks and new-tooling mass production 4–6 weeks. If your date is tighter than that, we will say so at the quotation stage rather than after the order.
03
We will not ship without inspection. 100% IQC and OQC on every batch, with material traceability. If a batch does not pass, it does not leave — even if that means a delay we have to explain.

Put Us Against the Other Quotations

Send the drawing and the requirement. You will have a manufacturability review in 24 hours and a full quotation in 12 — something concrete to compare, not another brochure.
