1. Mounting Evolution: Optimizing PCB Footprints

We engineered five distinct mounting architectures to solve specific spatial and mechanical challenges in modern hardware design:

  • SMT / SMD Pogo Pins: Designed for high-speed pick-and-place automation. Our SMT pins feature superior co-planarity to ensure zero-defect soldering on high-density PCBs.
  • Through-Hole (DIP) Technology: Engineered with a machined tail for maximum mechanical shear strength. Ideal for rugged docking stations where lateral force is a concern.
  • Right Angle Probes: Optimized for horizontal mating. We reduced the profile height to suit ultra-thin wearables and AR/VR smart glasses.
  • Double-Headed (Floating) Pins: Feature plungers at both ends. This architecture acts as a dynamic bridge between two PCBs, effectively compensating for assembly tolerances.
  • Solder Cup (Wire Attachment): Specifically designed for cable-to-board charging solutions, ensuring a robust connection that avoids wire fatigue.
